The promoted members of the IPMT practice span patents, trademarks, domain names and IPMT Transactions, and include representatives from the Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific & Middle East. Their promotions are very much deserved and we wish them success in their new roles.

Meet our new IPMT partners
Alexander Klicznik – Alex is a patent litigator and patent attorney based in Düsseldorf. As a European patent attorney (physics), Alex brings an additional service to our clients in complex technical patent litigation cases and patent office proceedings. His primary focus is on the TMT and Life Sciences sectors and he is a member of the firm’s 3D Printing group.
Joseph (Joe) J. Raffetto – Joe is based in DC and his practice covers patent litigation, post grant proceedings, ITC litigation and IPMT Transactions. Joe was the lead Associate on the first post-grant reviews ever instituted at the USPTO. He focusses on the Automotive and TMT sectors, and the intersection of the two.
Jane Seager – Jane is a domain names expert based in Paris. She advises clients in relation to online brand protection and the protection and recuperation of domain names around the world. Jane is a UDRP panelist with the World Intellectual Property Organization and the Czech Arbitration Court.
Meet our new IPMT counsel
Meryl Rosen Bernstein – Meryl is based in Northern Virginia and helps clients with their commercial and technology transactions. Having served as assistant general counsel at e-commerce business Gilt Groupe, Meryl also advises clients on their social media presence and online marketing strategy. She is co-president of the Board of Ellevate’s (global professional women’s network) DC Chapter.
Riccardo Fruscalzo – Riccardo is based in Milan and has been successfully leading our Italian life sciences regulatory practice for the past couple of years. As well as representing clients in pharmaceutical patent disputes, Riccardo also advises on Marketing Authorizations, clinical trials agreements and licensing agreements.
Anthonia Ghalamkarizadeh – Anthonia is a trademark and unfair competition lawyer based in Hamburg. She has a particular expertise in the online sphere, recently publishing articles on topics such as ad blocking and online scams.
Nga Nguyen – Nga is based in Hanoi and supports our clients with trademark, copyright, unfair competition, domain name and anti-counterfeiting matters in Vietnam. She also advises on transactional IP matters, supporting our M&A practice in the region.
Matthew (Matt) Rozier – Matt is a patent litigator based in Denver. Matt is also experienced in post-grant proceedings before the USPTO and has a proven track record of successfully challenging patents though a variety of post-grant procedures.
